For My next Trick – Invisible Braces!
Braces are not just for teenagers, they are not all made of metal and they don’t all have to be worn for years before results can be seen. Technology has moved on considerably and there are now alternatives to traditional braces available that offer better results in a lot less time.
Invisalign is a fairly new approach to dental braces and involves revolutionary clear braces constructed out of a hard wearing plastic. These braces are easy to remove so are very hygienic and easy to clean (they are also great for when eating tricky foods!).
Invisalign is the perfect solution for adults. The braces themselves are discreet and barely noticeable to the human eye. Compared to traditional metal braces, they require less visits to the orthodontist over the course of the treatments and each brace is individually made and customised to fit the contours of your mouth perfectly.
If you are not comfortable with your teeth to begin with, the last thing you want is something in your mouth drawing even more attention to them than before. Clear braces work almost unnoticed until the treatment is complete, then you will want the exact opposite and to draw as much attention to your smile as possible!
Eating out in restaurants, having photographs taken, even appearing on TV (if you are lucky enough!) is a breeze using Invisalign. Simply take out the aligners for as long as you need then pop them back in when you are done. Even if you do have to leave them in it won’t be too bad as they are virtually invisible anyway!
